Education

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) and later completed a Master of Education in Special Education through Relay Graduate School of Education. My academic background combines an understanding of public policy and advocacy with specialized training in supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Experience

Over the past 8 years, I taught ELA and Math in special education classrooms in Chicago, designing rigorous and personalized learning experiences to support student success. In my 2 years as a Special Education Department Lead, I supported and coached new special educators in developing effective instructional practices for diverse learners.

  • My life goal is to visit every single national park in the US.
  • I bake a mean ciabatta on the weekends.
