1-to-1
Core content classes are always 1-to-1 – just one student and one teacher – focused entirely on individual needs and IEP goals.
Small Group
Students join small group classes of up to five peers for electives and collaborative learning.
Homework Café
Dedicated time every day for students to work on assignments, build executive functioning skills, socialize, and get support in a structured setting.

Attending Sola Academy
Sola Academy is a fully accredited middle and high school in Evanston serving students with IEPs. Dedicated 1-to-1 instruction helps each student reach their academic potential, complemented by small group electives, social opportunities, and dedicated support in the Homework Café.

With over a decade of experience in special education and school leadership, she is dedicated to creating a personalized, inclusive, and high-impact learning environment where every student can thrive – socially, emotionally, and academically.

Sola Academy is approved by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), ensuring our specialized model meets standards for educational quality. Our program serves students within our Cognia accredited Fusion Academy Evanston campus. This recognition supports smooth transitions for students as they continue their educational journey within their home district and beyond.
